Aga in Designs
Art has always been part of my life, shaped by a family where creativity was passed down through generations.
Even with that influence, I initially chose to study business, curious to explore a different path. That changed after a year volunteering with an NGO in Latvia, where I saw how creative work can truly impact people and communities. Even later, while working in business development at KPMG, I stayed close to design through classes, personal projects, and volunteering.
Over time, through travel and self-discovery, I realized design was more than something I could keep on the side. I left my career in Poland to fully commit, starting over as a design student at De Anza College and later at Salt Lake Community College.
How did I get here?
I was born in Warsaw, Poland. During my MBA, I had the chance to study in Portugal and Croatia. After graduating, I spent a year volunteering in Latvia, which eventually led me to move to the U.S., first to California, and now to Utah.
What shaped my perspective?
Moving between countries and starting over a few times taught me to adapt quickly and stay open. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me more aware of how people, cultures, and environments differ.
How do I work?
I mix creativity with structure. I like to explore ideas freely at first, but then I step back and shape them into something clear and intentional. I care about design that not only looks good, but actually communicates something.
